Kathy has an extensive experience in the medical field, working at Bixby Hospital for 34 years in social services, discharge planning and education. After retirement she has been with Parkside for nearly 9 years as a lead outpatient therapist. She is very familiar with community resources and connected to others that may help her clients.
Her incredible background is helpful for those dealing with trauma, grief, health changes, family issues and couples therapy. She works with adults and couples predominately.
Additionally, Kathy works as a Navigator for the Department of Aging, she conducts monthly sessions for county caregivers. The field of dementia and age related issues are in her wheelhouse of skills.
Kathy prides herself on treating her clients with compassion, dignity meeting with them where they are and providing them tools to reach their goals.
