During some of the challenging moments in Le Ann's life, her college counselor helped her navigate uncharted loss and complex grief. Ever since that time, her desire has been to help others heal from unexpected hurt and provide hope through their pain. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Spring Arbor University in 2015, it was evident she was being called to work in Christian education and church ministry. Eight years later, she is thankful to have the opportunity to intern with Masterpeace Counseling as she works toward finishing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Spring Arbor University in May of 2025.
Le Ann's therapeutic approach may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, or Family Systems Therapy, but she believes it is important to treat each individual with an approach centered around his or her needs. Le Ann believes faith is an integral part of the counseling process and can include Christian Counseling for those who would like to incorporate their Christian faith into counseling sessions. Ultimately, she wants to provide an environment of safety, healing, empowerment, and hope through the many unexpected trials of life.
Le Ann is a Student Intern supervised at Masterpeace Counseling by Stephen May, LPC,
and the Field Placement Office at Spring Arbor University.
