Racquel “Rocky” Woods isn’t just her name—it’s her spirit. A proud graduate of Siena Heights University, she earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice in 2020 and went on to snag her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024, both with a heart full of purpose and a mind set on helping others heal.
A cancer survivor, collegiate Hall of Famer, and someone who has weathered deep personal loss, Rocky is no stranger to life’s toughest battles. After losing significant family members like dad and step-dad, she calls herself a lifelong student of grief—an identity that fuels her deep empathy and ability to walk with others through their darkest seasons.
Rooted in her faith and powered by resilience, Rocky is passionate about helping people reclaim their joy and rewrite their stories. She blends a warm, person-centered approach with the structure of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the grounding of mindfulness, supporting healing that touches mind, body, and spirit.
Her clinical experience spans adolescents and adults dealing with grief, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem challenges. She has a special heart for working with women navigating postpartum struggles, individuals wrestling with self-worth, and couples working through marital growing pains.
Rocky sees therapy as a journey—sometimes messy, sometimes magical, always meaningful. She believes that within the struggle, resilience blooms, and real transformation takes root.
